Well, we had a great time this past week with my daughter home from college. We saw Chicago and "Failure to Launch".

The little red hen, Pat laid a couple of eggs. I looked for some more today, but no such luck.

Hopefully someone will be taking all that scrap wood off my hands soon...

And the cool news is the grapes are budding out... and an egret sat on my arbor the other day as I was working on the computer! As I looked out my window I was lucky enough to see the egret walking along the top of my grape arbor! This picture was the best I could get before he flew away.

This is a long view...You can see Pat in the middle. She has taken the opportunity to upgrade to the garage at night.

This is not good, since I don't care for chicken poop in the garage!

We had a horrendous storm on Monday. Lots of stuff happened, including Lucy getting lost for about 18 hours! On Tuesday I went in the coop to feed Pat. When I closed the door and put the lid on the feel (That grey garbage can under the woodpile) the whole coop fell down.
